This was a surprise cake for the Birthday boy. The cake is a double layer chcolate cake topped with chocolate ganache. Overall the figures turned out ok, but am still learning to what keeps them intact.

Very nice! People are very difficult, and best when done 2 weeks prior to the event. You skin color is spot on!
Thanks. Also realise the cake either has to be a bit more taller so that the figures can be pinned in at the right height, or the figures should be smaller. Still learning as I go along.
Welcome to my blog. It's filled with pics of all the cakes I have baked and decorated. Take your time to view and I hope it tempts you enough to want to have one yourself. Thanks for dropping by and do leave your comments.
Hi my name is Beatrice. Have always loved baking and have been baking since I was a kid. It was only years later that I managed to find somewhere to learn more about cake decorating and the interest kept growing. Pursued my passion in Melbourne and I am now a qualified pastry chef.
