Monkeying on the Letter G

Ruben wanted a letter "G" for his girl friend's surprise b'day. I asked him what else does she like and the first thing he said was "monkeys". So made the two monkeys to add a personal touch to the cake.
It was easy shaping the G. But it took time cleaning the inside part to ensure the board was clean. In the end, edged the corners with chocolate icing to give it a finished look. The fondant flowers were store bought.

Under the sea

Made this to the theme of the sea & sea creatures, as Bernita & Sarah are both divers and wanted a cake the reflect their love for the sea.
The cake was a moist chocolate cake with a layer of chocolate ganache.
