Working with fondant is not easy esp here in Malaysia where the air is often humid and one needs to add lots of gumtax in order to get the figures to harden faster. I worked on these figurines and finally got them to stand up and dry in time to give it to a friend for her birthday.

What recipe do you use?here in Cape Town we have that problem during winter,and i have kinda come up with a solution for myself which works quite well!
i used store bought fondant. with gum tax it hardens better but I've also resorted to having them dry in an air conditioned room...temp set to low dry...now it works better.
